Job Description:
- Contribute to the study titled “Towards accurate determination of burden of kidney disease in India – Development and validation of accurate equation to estimate glomerular filtration rate (GFR) for Indian population.”
- Perform data entry of patient-level databases and other related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Essential: A three-year bachelor’s degree in Paramedical sciences, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or B.Sc (Nursing).
- Desirable: One year of clinical trial experience, computer skills.
Age Limit: Less than 30 years as of 31-08-2024
Remuneration: INR 20,000 (Consolidated)

Job Title 2: Senior Research Fellow
Number of Positions: 01
Job Description:
- Work on community-based projects, data collection, data cleaning, data management, analysis, interpretation, and report writing for the study mentioned above.
Qualifications:
- Essential: A Master’s degree in Public Health.
- Desirable: At least one year of experience in community-based projects, field data collection or survey, computer skills.
Age Limit: Less than 35 years as of 31-08-2024
Remuneration: INR 32,000 (Consolidated)
Mode of Recruitment: Written test and skill test
Terms and Conditions:
- Tenure is twelve months, extendable for the full project duration, based on performance.
- This position is purely temporary/contractual.
- Preference will be given to applicants with research experience, good communication skills in Tamil, and basic computer skills.
- No benefits like provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, or Medical Claim are applicable.
- Termination can occur with one month’s notice without assigning any reason.
- The appointee must serve one month’s notice or remit one month’s salary if they wish to resign.
- Full-time commitment to the project is required.
- No TA/DA for attending the interview.
- Only candidates who can join by 26-08-2024 need to apply.
- No claim for regular appointments at JIPMER post-project.
