  1. Technical Assistant
    • Project: Optimized salicylamide derivatives and prodrugs for the treatment of influenza infections
    • PI: Dr. Sweety Samal; Co-PI: Dr. Dinesh Mahajan, Dr. Shailendra Asthana
    • Monthly Emoluments: Rs 50,000 (Consolidated)
    • Age: 35 years
    • Qualifications: Post-Graduate degree in life sciences with at least 3 years of post-qualification research experience in biochemical and molecular biology.
    • Desirable: Experience in molecular biology, protein expression and purification, virological and immunological assays, animal handling.
  2. Project Research Scientist-II (Synthetic Organic Chemist)
    • Project: Optimized salicylamide derivatives and prodrugs for the treatment of influenza infections
    • PI: Dr. Sweety Samal; Co-PI: Dr. Dinesh Mahajan, Dr. Shailendra Asthana
    • Monthly Emoluments: Rs 80,000 (Consolidated)
    • Age: 40 years
    • Qualifications: First Class PG Degree in chemical sciences with 3 years of experience in Medicinal Chemistry or PhD, OR Second Class PG Degree with PhD and 3 years of experience.
    • Desirable: PhD in chemical science with 1 year of research experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
  3. Project Research Scientist-I
    • Project: Establishment of Centre for Advanced Research for Rapid Development of Host-directed broad Antivirals
    • PI: Dr. Shailendra Asthana
    • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000 + HRA
    • Age: 35 years
    • Qualifications: First Class PG Degree in Life Sciences/Computational Biophysics/Computational Chemistry or equivalent with substantial research experience and publications OR Second Class PG Degree with PhD in the relevant field with substantial research experience.
    • Desirable: Experience in computational resources maintenance, drug discovery projects, MD simulations, computational chemistry, and related fields.
  4. Senior Technical Assistant
    • Project: Multi-epitope nanoparticle-based Broadly Protective Betacoronavirus Candidate Vaccine
    • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 40,000 (Consolidated)
    • Age: 35 years
    • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Computational Science/Pharma or equivalent with 1 year of post-qualification experience.
    • Desirable: Familiarity with molecular modeling, protein docking, virtual screening, MD simulations, coding or scripting, and having published research articles.

  1. Positions are short-term and extendable based on performance.
  2. Educational, professional, and technical qualifications must be from recognized institutions.
  3. Age limits, qualifications, experience, and other requirements may be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority.
  4. Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Central Government servants as per government rules.
