About Us: The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) is a government body under the Ministry of AYUSH, dedicated to promoting the medicinal plants sector in India. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team in various roles on a contract basis.
Positions Available:
- Program Manager (Institutional Strengthening)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Salary: ₹75,000 per month
- Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Botany, Medicinal Plants, Pharmacognosy, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in medicinal plants organizations.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Domain Expert (Institutional Strengthening)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Salary: ₹75,000 per month
- Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in herbal raw material market dynamics.
- Age Limit: Up to 64 years (contract can extend to 65 years)
- Consultant (In-situ Resource Augmentation)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Salary: ₹50,000 per month
- Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in taxonomy or pharmacognosy.
- Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in medicinal plants survey and cultivation.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
- Consultant (Joint Forest Management Committee – JFMC)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Salary: ₹50,000 per month
- Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in taxonomy or pharmacognosy.
- Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in conservation of medicinal plants.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Additional Requirements for All Positions:
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet.
- Contract is initially up to March 31, 2025, with possible extension.
