Position Details

• Post: Scientist
• Tenure: Initially for one year; extendable yearly based on performance for up to three years. Co-terminus with the project duration.
• Fellowship: Rs. 57,600/- per month (consolidated, no HRA).
• Age Limit: Below 40 years as of the interview date.

Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacoinformatics, Bioinformatics, or related areas.
• At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis (with proof of submission) are also eligible.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Bioinformatics, Chemoinformatics, or Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD).

• General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Demand Draft in favor of ‘Director, NIPER-SAS Nagar’ payable at SAS Nagar/Chandigarh).
• SC/ST/PWD/Female Candidates: No fee required.
• Note: Other forms of payment will not be accepted.

• Candidates must bring a duly filled application form (prescribed format) with a recent passport-sized photograph.
• Attach self-attested copies of testimonials, degrees, certificates, etc.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview for verification.
