Position: Assay Biologist
Job Purpose: We are seeking an Assay Biologist who will ensure the efficient execution of multiple cell-based and biochemical assays, maintaining the highest standards of data quality and integrity while meeting established timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safe practices and procedures within the team.
- Contribute to the development of procedures and systems ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Foster a corporate culture that prioritizes environment, health, and safety (EHS).
- Ensure team compliance with mandatory training related to data integrity and safety.
- Hold the team accountable for achieving safety goals and review safety metrics regularly.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: MSc or M-Tech in Life Sciences or a related field.
- Experience:
- MSc with 3–6 years of relevant experience, OR
- MTech with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture and biochemical assays.
- Excellent pipetting skills; experience with automated liquid handling systems.
- Proficient in conducting TR-FRET, HTRF, fluorescence intensity, AlphaScreen, radioactive, and luminescence assays.
- Familiarity with ELISA and Luminex assays for cytokine estimations is a plus.
- Experience with human primary cells and tissue samples.
- Desirable experience with RT-PCR and Western blotting.
- Proficient in data analysis and presentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical tools (GraphPad Prism, Excel-fit).
- Willingness to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of assay QC parameters.
