Position: Assay Biologist

Job Purpose: We are seeking an Assay Biologist who will ensure the efficient execution of multiple cell-based and biochemical assays, maintaining the highest standards of data quality and integrity while meeting established timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safe practices and procedures within the team.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and systems ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Foster a corporate culture that prioritizes environment, health, and safety (EHS).
  • Ensure team compliance with mandatory training related to data integrity and safety.
  • Hold the team accountable for achieving safety goals and review safety metrics regularly.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: MSc or M-Tech in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • MSc with 3–6 years of relevant experience, OR
    • MTech with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in mammalian cell culture and biochemical assays.
    • Excellent pipetting skills; experience with automated liquid handling systems.
    • Proficient in conducting TR-FRET, HTRF, fluorescence intensity, AlphaScreen, radioactive, and luminescence assays.
    • Familiarity with ELISA and Luminex assays for cytokine estimations is a plus.
    • Experience with human primary cells and tissue samples.
    • Desirable experience with RT-PCR and Western blotting.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical tools (GraphPad Prism, Excel-fit).
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of assay QC parameters.
