Qualifications
- Minimum: PharmD from a recognized University/College
- Preferred: PharmD with experience in a hospital setting or in Anti-microbial Stewardship
Skills and Aptitude
- Communication: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bangla is desirable.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Physical and Mental Fitness: Ability to conduct extensive ward rounds for data collection and analysis.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Conduct various tasks related to Anti-microbial Stewardship, including data collection and quality indicator analysis.
- Perform ward rounds to monitor antimicrobial consumption and communicate with the AMSP team for necessary actions.
- Serve as a liaison between AMSP consultants, clinical staff, and nursing teams to optimize antimicrobial use.
- Participate in training and educational activities focused on optimal antimicrobial use.
- Support routine pharmacist duties as needed.
- Contribute to the overall AMS program of the hospital.
