Position Details:

• Title: Consultant (Scientific) (Non-Medical)
• Number of Positions: 01
• Salary: Up to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (depending on experience and knowledge)
• Maximum Age Limit: 70 years
• Location: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi (with possible postings to other sites)

Essential Qualifications:

• Professionals with M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA qualifications in a relevant subject
• Experience in Research & Development and published papers

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences
• Experience in clinical trials, medical devices, and medical diagnostics
• Proficiency in writing study protocols, CRFs, consent forms, and manuscripts

General Terms and Conditions:

1. The number of positions may vary.
2. These positions are purely for temporary projects and will be co-terminus with the project.
3. Engagement is dependent on availability of funds, functional requirements, and approval of the competent authority.
4. Emoluments are project-specific and may vary based on the funding agency.
5. The cut-off date for age limit will be as of the last date for submission of applications.
6. Age relaxation will be as per ICMR guidelines.
7. Reserved category candidates must provide valid certificates (latest non-creamy layer certificate for OBC and disability certificate for PWD with not less than 40% disability).
8. Successful candidates will be allotted projects by the competent authority.
9. Qualifications and experience should be relevant and from reputed institutions.
10. Fulfilling essential qualifications does not guarantee selection.
11. Government employees are not eligible to apply.
12. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
13. ICMR reserves the right to consider or reject any application.
14. Submission of false information will disqualify candidates.
15. Project Human Resource cannot register for Ph.D. due to time constraints.
16. Posting will typically be at the study site, with potential postings to other sites.
17. No claim to regular posts at ICMR or other government departments.
18. Initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
19. ICMR reserves the right to terminate engagements without reason.
20. Leave policies will be as per ICMR’s policy for project human resources.
