Positions:

1. Scientist D (Medical or Non-Medical)

• Age Limit: 45 years
• Pay: Rs. 78,000 + HRA @ 27%
• Qualifications:
  • Medical:
    • Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) after MBBS with 6 years research experience, or
    • MBBS with 8 years experience or Post Graduate Diploma with 5 years experience, or
    • Ph.D. in relevant subjects with 5 years experience
    • 2 years experience in R&D project management
  • Non-Medical:
    • Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 5 years R&D/Teaching experience, or
    • First class MPH/Pharm D/Master’s with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience, or
    • Second class M.Sc./MPH + Ph.D. with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience
    • 2 years experience in R&D project management
  • Desirable:
    • Postdoctoral research/teaching experience
    • Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management

Job Description:

• Lead and manage R&D projects
• Coordinate HTAIn activities
• Facilitate application/proposal submissions
• Liaise with national and international partners
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and meetings
• Draft official reports

2. Health Economist (Level of Scientist B)

• Age Limit: 40 years
• Pay: Rs. 65,000-75,000 per month (consolidated)
• Qualifications:
  • Masters in Health Economics/Economics/Public Health/Community Medicine with specialization in Healthcare Costing, Economic Evaluation
  • 2 years experience for Junior Staff, 6 years for Seniors
  • Desirable: Ph.D. in related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, VBA, and Tree Age

Job Description:

• Plan and execute HTA projects
• Conduct HTA studies
• Write, edit, and publish reports and journal articles
• Advocate and publicize HTA work
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies

3. Field Supervisor

• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay: Rs. 30,000-32,000 per month (consolidated)
• Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Science or relevant subjects with 3 years of work experience, or
  • Master’s degree in relevant subject or Pharm.D

Job Description:

• Conduct house listing
• Perform interviews for data collection
• Oversee data collection at partner institutes
