Job Overview
IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Safety Associate Trainee for its Lifecycle Safety team in Kolkata. As a Safety Associate Trainee, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and processing safety data while adhering to regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical safety, adverse event reporting, and medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process safety data from various sources in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including adverse event (AE) tracking, database entry, and medical coding.
- Assist in writing narratives and preparing safety reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of safety-related information.
- Collaborate with senior team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain 100% compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Handle literature screening and other PV-related tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare fields.
- Freshers are welcome, but prior knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
