Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential:
- Female candidate as the job requires working closely with pregnant women.
- Master in Public Health, Pharmacology, any science discipline, Biochemistry, Nursing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or other relevant areas from a recognized university with 1 year of research experience.
- Good command of Tamil and English – Reading, speaking & writing, preferably Tamil typing.
- Experience working with medical records and quantitative research in a hospital.
- Desirable:
- Skill in handling Microsoft Office, Excel, electronic data capture, emails, web conferencing, other relevant internet tools for research.
- Publications in indexed journals.
- Maximum Age Limit: 30 years (as on last date of receipt of applications).
Responsibilities:
- Collect information about patients admitted with preeclampsia, take their consent, and recruit them into the trial.
- Drug monitoring, blood sampling and storage, coordination of lab work, data collection, record keeping, data entry, and project report writing.
- Follow up with all babies born to these mothers.
- Contact the aforementioned people after six weeks to get information as per the proforma.
- Postnatal blood sampling of the recruited patients may be required on Sundays and holidays too.
- Executing finance and related administrative tasks of the project.
Terms and Conditions:
- This position is purely on a contract basis for an externally sponsored project, with no claim to any regular post in JIPMER.
- The engagement may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
- Qualification and experience should be in a relevant discipline/field and in a reputed institution/organization.
- Qualification, experience, other terms, and conditions may be relaxed/altered at the discretion of the Principal Investigator.
- Valid email ID and mobile number are compulsory.
- Consolidated salary of the post may vary from time to time.
- Submission of wrong or false information at any stage during the process of selection or canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification or termination if detected after engagement.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Evaluation Criteria:
