1. Research Associate-I

• Project: Sars-Cov2 anti-viral activity testing platform
• PI: Dr. Amit Awasthi
• No. of Posts: 1
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University (those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply)
  • Desirable: Experience in virus culture, neutralization assay, virological assays, cell culture, protocol development, immunological assays, QC/QA, documentation practices in clinical/pre-clinical research labs, SOP, and protocol development.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/- + HRA (Rs. 35,000/- if Ph.D. degree is not awarded by the closing date)

2. Project Associate-II

• Project: Sars-Cov2 anti-viral activity testing platform
• No. of Posts: 1
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum: Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences / M.Pharma (Pharmacology) / M.V.Sc. with 2 years post-qualification research experience
  • Desirable: Experience in animal experimentation, molecular biology, immunological techniques, particularly PCR
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA

3. Project Associate-II

• Project: Optimized salicylamide derivatives and prodrugs for influenza treatment
• Co-PI: Dr. Shailendra Asthana
• No. of Posts: 2
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum: Post Graduate Degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computational Science/ Pharmaceutical chemistry/ Computational chemistry or equivalent with 2 years of post-qualification experience in Medicinal chemistry (candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible)
  • Desirable: Knowledge in computational chemistry, biochemistry, MD simulations, chemical databases, drug design, structural analysis, free energy methods
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 50,000/- (Consolidated)

1. These positions are short-term and extension depends on performance and project tenure.
2. Educational qualifications must be from recognized institutions.
3. Experience should be post-qualification.
4. Age, qualifications, experience, and other requirements may be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority.
5. Screening may limit the number of candidates.
6. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
7. Results and notifications will be published on the THSTI website.
