Functional Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of clinical data science activities including data review, risk management & analytics, and clinical systems.
- Familiarity with project management, including predictive elements of timelines, resource requirements, and financial tracking.
Business Expertise:
- Understanding of protocol content and interpretation of critical data and data review requirements.
- Ability to react and adapt requirements, processes, and timelines in an agile manner.
- Tracks and keeps functional management and project management informed of any issues affecting project target dates, scope, or budget, and escalates potential problems effectively and timely.
- Works independently and with other project leads to negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers and departments.
- Understands project-level revenue recognition/forecasting process and provides input regarding actual and forecast units/hours (revenue and resources) to the CDS Project Manager.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Approximately 15% travel, domestic and/or international.
Leadership:
- Functional Team Lead and primary point of contact for internal and external project team for CDS.
- Typically 0-2 years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the stated education and experience.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- May facilitate as “Data Review Team Lead” role.

- Use existing procedures to solve basic problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgment calls.
