Description: National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, an “Institute of National Importance,” invites applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) for an ICMR-funded project. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The initial employment period is 01 year, renewable up to 03 years based on satisfactory performance.

• Project Title: Overcoming the Inflammatory Cascade in Neonatal Sepsis: a Nanomedicine Approach
• Project Duration: 36 months

Salary: INR 56,000 per month + House Rental Allowances (HRA) as per ICMR norms (Approximate emoluments may be INR 71,120).

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • First class post-graduate degree (including integrated PG degree) such as M.S. (Pharm)/ M.Pharm/ M.Sc/ M.Tech or equivalent with specialization in Pharmacology & Toxicology/ Regulatory Toxicology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences. MSc candidates need to have 3 years post-PG experience.
  • Second class post-graduate degree in the aforementioned disciplines with Ph.D.
  • Qualifications must be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in in vitro and in vivo models, animal handling, histopathological techniques, molecular biology techniques.

Age Limit: 35 years as on 5th July 2024.
