Project: ICMR funded project entitled “Investigation of novel squaramide based IL-8R inhibitors and bio-instructive peptido-hydrogels for simultaneous management of metastatic oral squamous cell carcinomas and oral mucositis.”

Principal Investigator: Dr. Bichismita Sahu

Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA (15,120/-) = Rs. 71,120/- per month

Tenure: Initial appointment for six months, extendable up to three and a half years based on project duration and performance. Position will co-terminate with the project.

Essential Qualification:

• First-class post-graduate degree with Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences.
• At least 2 publications as first author in reputed journals.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g., Cell culture, rt-QPCR, Western-blot, Flow cytometry, RNA extraction, Plasmid transfection, Imaging).
• Knowledge in molecular mechanism elucidation, transcriptome data analysis, RNA sequencing.
• Preferably knowledgeable in cancer biology and inflammation.

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of 31-07-2024

Terms and Conditions:

• Service terms and conditions are as per ICMR norms.
• Leaves and allowances are as per ICMR norms.
• No hostel facility will be provided.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project.
