Job Description:

  • Execute the long-term vision and product-line-level strategy & roadmap for all pharmacy-related (payer-pharmacy-provider value-chains) products.
  • Conduct market research and meet with internal stakeholders to identify trends in pharmacy functions.
  • Work with EY Product Managers to define and track OKRs for all products within the product line, provide input on the product backlog, roadmap, and prioritize features based on stakeholder input and user research, testing, and synthesis.
  • Drive accountability of the Product Managers to deliver on PI goals and commitments and provide input on the overall product backlog/roadmap.
  • Facilitate demos and reviews with stakeholders to receive input on products within the product line.
  • Review new product submissions and help to shape and size to understand alignment with overall strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during the pursuit lifecycle and provide inputs to EY for Health Pre-sales teams for all pharmacy-clinical products.
  • Solicit inputs from the pre-sales team to understand client feedback/input to improve the product.
  • Support Product Manager go-to-market material creation to accurately articulate the product and market fit.
  • Work with BMC to publish marketing content related to products within product lines.
  • Provide direction to the product team within the product line and prioritize team health by resolving people issues.
  • Oversee multiple product management processes, establish priorities, and coordinate with teams to create schedules throughout the product life cycle.
  • Participate in the development and updating of annual budget plans to ensure appropriate allocation of resources; regularly track actuals against planned budget.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate junior product teammates.
  • Optimize team performance, balance product team assignments, and enhance processes.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on product line progress and performance.
  • Provide inputs to EY for Health Leader to shape commercials for all products within the product line.
  • Work with a set of stakeholders and sector leads to agree on a set of strategic business objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Ensure all products within the product line align with the requirements set by stakeholders.
  • Adhere to overall strategy and go-to-market efforts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholder inputs and confidence to push back.
  • Support marketing efforts around product launches.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Act as a mentor to junior product teammates.
  • Manage investment budget for products within the product line throughout the year against plan.
  • Drive accountability and alignment with sector/key stakeholders.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a health product or a health industry product captive to drive technology products around pharmacy-facing products (especially working with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies like CVS, Walgreens, ExpressScripts, etc.).
  • Experience working for a US-based PBM system (will be an added advantage).
  • Experience working with both business and engineering teams – identifying features and building them leveraging an engineering team.
  • Led small/mid-sized scrum teams (3-7 people).
  • Practitioner of design thinking and agile techniques in product development.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • Experience working for a US-based PBM system is an added advantage.
  • Having a Bachelor’s or above in Engineering or a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or a Master’s in Clinical Disciplines (e.g., Medical economics, Biology, Epidemiology) is preferred.
