Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Compendial projects, verification, R&D projects, and PoC projects for various biological products such as proteins, monoclonal antibodies, peptides, and vaccines.
- Prepare project reports according to USP’s quality systems and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong skills in bioanalytical methods including Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC/nLC), LC-MS, Biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, Western blot & IEF), and Enzymatic/Protein assays.
- Troubleshoot and solve laboratory problems using personal experience and academic training.
- Comply with USP’s Quality Management System and assist in process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, ethics, and legal compliance in the laboratory.
- Support cross-functional activities in the Biologics lab and assist in quality audits as necessary.
- Perform duties related to lab equipment, inventory, and other supporting activities.
Candidate Profile:
- MSc/M.Tech/M.Pharm in Biological Sciences or a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Analytical R&D or QC in the Biopharmaceutical industry.
- Technical expertise in analytical characterization for biotherapeutics and vaccines.
- Proficient in techniques such as Chromatography, Biochemical assays, and Enzymatic/Protein assays.
- Strong background in mass spectrometry (MS) and hands-on experience with HRMS instruments.
- Knowledge of cGLP/cGMP environments and QMS systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SEC-MALS, Circular Dichroism, or Capillary Electrophoresis instruments is a plus.
- Good presentation skills.
