Position Details:
- Title: Consultant (Scientific) (Non-Medical)
- Number of Positions: 01
- Salary: Up to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (depending on experience and knowledge)
- Maximum Age Limit: 70 years
- Location: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi (with possible postings to other sites)
Essential Qualifications:
- Professionals with M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA qualifications in a relevant subject
- Experience in Research & Development and published papers
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences
- Experience in clinical trials, medical devices, and medical diagnostics
- Proficiency in writing study protocols, CRFs, consent forms, and manuscripts
General Terms and Conditions:
- The number of positions may vary.
- These positions are purely for temporary projects and will be co-terminus with the project.
- Engagement is dependent on availability of funds, functional requirements, and approval of the competent authority.
- Emoluments are project-specific and may vary based on the funding agency.
- The cut-off date for age limit will be as of the last date for submission of applications.
- Age relaxation will be as per ICMR guidelines.
- Reserved category candidates must provide valid certificates (latest non-creamy layer certificate for OBC and disability certificate for PWD with not less than 40% disability).
- Successful candidates will be allotted projects by the competent authority.
- Qualifications and experience should be relevant and from reputed institutions.
- Fulfilling essential qualifications does not guarantee selection.
- Government employees are not eligible to apply.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
- ICMR reserves the right to consider or reject any application.
- Submission of false information will disqualify candidates.
- Project Human Resource cannot register for Ph.D. due to time constraints.
- Posting will typically be at the study site, with potential postings to other sites.
- No claim to regular posts at ICMR or other government departments.
- Initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
- ICMR reserves the right to terminate engagements without reason.
- Leave policies will be as per ICMR’s policy for project human resources.
